... no... at worst you supported Chavez... who as far as I can tell is a democratically elected leader of an oil producing nation... that's better than most other oil producing nations...(Saudi, Iran, ect.)... hahahaha... you're supporting democracy... :D
conservatives just don't like it because "he said bad words about our president..." boo-hooo...

Conservatives hate Chazez more than Osama... it's retarded... Chavez never killed any Americans in any huge terrorists attacks... yet let's give money to the Saudis who clearly do have terror links and clearly have given money to Osama!

When Chavez blows something up killing a bunch of Americans... I'll boycot citgo too... in the meantime... sticks and stone will break my bones but words won't hurt me...

No. You are not a traitor. Hugo Chavez is a loose cannon, but he is not scheming to bring down one of our skyscrapers. He is the Latino leftist version of Ann Coulter. He says things just to be outrageous. I don't think he is against the American people. His arguement seems to be with W. A point of view I can agree with. I don't take his remarks seriously, any more than I take Ms. Coulter's remarks seriously. He enjoys the media circus as does Ms. Coulter. I thought B.P. was owned by the Japanese. I tried to look up B.P. on the internet and I still can't determine who owns it. However, not all people who wear turbans are our enemy. We are on the verge if not over it of making this into a holy war between Christianity and Islam. This is insanity. The only thing the republicans have on their side is terror. To misquote F.D.R. the only thing we have to fear is the war on terror.

Just b/c some one wears a turban doesn't mean he isn't an American citizen. Don' t judge people. That is what is wrong with this world!! Now I do hear that B.P. uses American gas...rather or not this is true or not I do not know. I do believe that is better to buy American b/c you are patronizing your own country. I do not want my money to go to terrorist, or people that enslave old ladies and children for hardly no income to make cheap products. I don't care how the people that are employed are dressed as long as they are nice. If I have knowledge that this turban dressed person is a terrorist then I would not patronize his service. To assume that he is a terrorist by the way he looks is wrong.

I ran out of gas and pushed my car a mile past the CITGO station to the AMOCO station.

The guy running the station, fled Iran to be free in America He is more American than most people who were born here.

God bless America, short Citgo!

Your Citgo "American" guy should quit and go work for an American Company.

I drive past the cheaper Citgo stations to by my gas at Shell or Exxon. Buying Citgo as puts money in the pockets of a nut job who gave low cost heating oil to some parts of the US to curry favor (like the goof above), while his own people starve and freeze to death. Yeah, thats the kind of guy I want to support.
Boycott Citgo!

When was the last time an American oil company did anything other than rip you and America off?

They all work together on their price-fixing schemes. So, if they can be friends, what difference does it make?

And, what about all the mutual funds, 401 & 407K plans that many are planning their retirement on that are invested in Citgo?

I'd buy from the Turban guy. There's a chance he actually likes America and isn't going to try to blow it up. When you buy from Citgo, you're pumping more money into Venezuala. For the forseeable future, it will be led by a despotic crackpot who hates America. I'd rather get my gas from a company that gets their oil from a friendly place like Canada, here in the US, or Europe.

And as for the racial profiling guy: it works. I'm sorry, but considering the vast majority of the terrorists we are fighting right now are Muslim and that many of them operate in this country racial profiling is right in the sense that you should keep a watchful eye out for these people. We are wasting valuable resources giving everyone fair treatment.

i usually buy citgo -- citgo provides lots of jobs to american people. citgo provided inexpensive heating fuel for the united states last winter and will probably do the same this year. if people in your area aren't getting it then it is probably because your governor and legislators are republican and intollerant of venezuela. the most important part of buying citgo is no money goes to contiue the wars in the middle east. so buy some more citgo now!

No you are not a traitor. American prides itself on the free speech it affords it citizens. Just speaking of the concept, not the reality.
Should we not also afford that to other peoples in other nations?
The idiocy of that policy would seem to suggest that our real agenda is something much different, Anyway the gas is already here, taxes have been paid and it would be a sin to waste it.
