ok for roundoffs, take long run and be sure you dont pause right before you go into it. its ok if you legs are bent but as long as you have the technique, they will straighten out.

handstands, ok when you go into it one leg should be behind you off the ground and the other on the ground, you going to kick into it. keep practicing. when you doing it righ you should feel pressure on you hips and shoulders. then kick back down.

splits do hurdler stretches. one leg in front like a straddle and the other bent behind. do lunges as well, they will come eventually

backwalk overs. ok start out in a low squat with one hand be hind you and one between you legs bounce 3 times bounce into you bridge, this should give you enough momentum to kick over.

hope it helps!

Roundoffs: make sure you have a good cartwheel!
--do it slow so you can get your feet together at the top
--make sure you have a good hurdle to give you momentum from a run
--learn to pull your chest up almost before your feet hit the ground once you're over the top
--keep your arms up the whole time

Handstands: practice up against a wall--extend yourself as tall as possible
--make sure you know how to stay tight/squeeze your butt and keep your arms straight
--make sure you attain vertical
--make sure you step out with one foot and let the other one follow

Splits: stretch them out very good to begin with
--do 45 second holds in your splits--good side and bad side--do at least 3 repetitions per day
--splits are something that take time--you have to work on them all the time!!

Back Walkovers: a lot of gyms are not teaching these anymore until it's required for competition due to the back damage sometimes associated with back walkovers/backbends--however, if you need to get yours...
--make sure your back is limber enough to where you can go from a standing position, reach backwards, and touch the floor/go into a backbend
--once you are in a backbend, work on kicking over. If you can put your feet on something fairly high, such as a mat or Tumble Trak, do that and slowly lower the height until you can kick over from the floor.
--have someone spot you on several toepoint backwalkovers--make sure you keep your front leg moving continually once you start to bend backwards
--make sure you don't hurt your back--dont' do too many!!

If you didn't start off at a young age, it may be difficult to perfect certain stunts. Try help from a veteran gymnast or go to the video store and rent a "how to" video.

Keep at it, it took me almost a year to get good at it. Get use to falling on your face but keep practicing...you will do great! =)
