I am dating this really sweet guy but I no longer feel the connection I use to. I have even kissed another guy and really liked it. My bf is really sweet, but he can be a jackass(as all guys) and I don't want to break his heart. He was cheated on before dating me and it really hurt him. I don't want to do that but I want to know what it is like to be single agian. I just want freedom. I am 19 (about to turn 20) and I want to experience the world! What should I say to him?

Tell him that it isn't him—it is you—you don't like him.

Just tell him what you just said. We started getting serious way too young, when we were just starting out to discover ourselves on this journey called life, and even though what we have it nice, I feel the need for freedom in my life so I can truly experience things more fully, take time to date more and have more fun and live life more before getting serious with one person for the rest of my life , when I'm not really sure yet, what I want out of life. It's not anything that's your fault or mine, it's somehing I should have thought about a little more, before getting serious with someone right off the bat. I guess that's showing that I am at least growing up, if I can be honest about my needs and feelings to you, rather than bullshit you and pretend to be satisfied . We both deserve better than that. We might not hook up again, or maybe somewhere down the road, who knows what life will bring, but that's what I want to find out.

You don't sound ready to be in an exclusive relationship with anyone. Just tell him, that he is a nice guy, and you've been flattered by his attention, but you don't see the relationship going any further. He is gonna hurt if you break up with him, and will hurt more if he finds you've been cheating on him. Just tell him good-bye. Oh, and do it in person, not on the phone or by email. He deserves that.

It is always difficult to break up with someone and especially if he is a nice person. You just have to be very honest with him and for heavens sake don't string him along. Tell him you are just too young and haven't experienced life as yet to become serious with any one person.

sounds cliche but just be honest with him. I'm sure you would appreciate it if the roles were reversed.
