how do you compare slopes?

example:

y=3\4x

and....

y=5/2x

( those are the slopes)

Well. it seems the slope of the first line is 3/4, and
the slope of the second is 5/2. Since 5/2 > 3/4.
the second line is steeper.

3divided by 4 =.75
and 5 divided by 2 =2.5
therefore the 5/2 is greater than the 3/4

im not extremely sure, but what I would do is graph them and see which one is steeper.
