if you believe in past life, what do you think you were in your past life and why. I believe that I was an a early 1960's housewife who died from an illness that was very painful. have this feeling that i am supposed to be at home instead of working.

I feel very strongly that I died during the sinking of the Titanic. I have felt this ever since I was 5 or 6, and hadn't yet even HEARD of the Titanic. But, when I read about the disaster at age 8, I somehow just KNEW I had been there. I can still feel the freezing water, can still see the particular viewpoint and angle as the ship sank in front of me, and I can still hear the awful sounds of the people in the water around me.
God, she was a beautiful ship.

I have always thought that in a past life I was cave man about 75,000 years ago. My thoughts were confirmed after many hypnosis sessions. It was determined my name was Ragnar. I was the leader of a great tribe. I was killed in a mastodon stampede while defending my people. This too was a very painful way to die. So I can relate to your experiences. In my current life I do not have any desire to live in a cave probably because I really like sitting on my couch and watching cable TV. I wonder who I will be next?

I think I died of drowning in the ocean, because I have a terrible fear of deep water and of being in the water with a large boat near me.... terrifies me. I never had a bad experience in THIS life, so if reincarnation does exist, I do believe that is how I died. PS. I must have been a bad person too, because this life just plain sucks.

I don't believe in past lives. I do believe that our greatest longings and greatest fears can produce strong feelings when we try to supress them. For example, if I believed I would have been a military leader leading an army outnumbered and out-equipped.
I think you are torn between staying at home and working and you should try to address that desire even if it you can't act on it instead of supressing or ignoring it.

A better and harder question is NOW -- why are you in the here and NOW? What is there to try, see, do, learn, experence today?. Is it unfinished business or to try something new or both? Try to make that happen.
Maybe you are to be a homemaker, maybe it is your comfort zone that you long to go back for but want something different.
