call your local DVD rental store and ask them if they can polish out the scratches. Most good stores have a machine that can get out almost any major scratch and they should do it for under $5

with one of those disc cleaners. works wonders. i use mine all the time on cds dvds and video games. you just spray this stuff on the disc and put it in the cleaner. you can get hand crank models or electric ones.
i bought mine at either EB games or Gamestop. i cant remember. i know walmart also has them. theyre cheap too. under 20 bucks. well worth it to be able to play your stuff again.

I go down to the family video in Geneva and use the really expensive buffer they have down there they charge a modest fee but its totally worth works miracles

you need one of those disc cleaners which take away all the scratches from your DVD or Disc!! you can get them very cheap maybe even cheaper on http://ebay.com!!!! or in WALMART for UNDER $15-20!!! Or EB-Games Or GameStop
