If you're playing forward you want to be near the goal to score from passes from the wing, but stay on side, that is, don't get between their defense and their goalie.

On defense, keep the ball away from the center of the field. Always clear to the sides and defend your goal.

Basically soccer is a possession game. Try to get the ball away from others and then pass it around amongst your own team players. (easier said than done) And, of course, never let your hands or arms touch the ball.

soccer is pretty simple i guess, as a forward you will need to be quick, keep good control of the ball, try to hold the ball and wait for help, or if you can get past the opposition then get a shot on target, usually hitting low is better.
As a defender you need to track back and keep an eye on the ball at all times, try to anticipate where the opponent is going to go/pass the ball. Usually indoor soccer doesnt have that many rules, offside and such are not really applicable since its such a small area.
