You have to find pairs of numbers that multiply to 96. Since each stamp is 1-inch square, 96 of them will give you 96 square inches.

One answer could be 16 x 6 or 16 rows with 6 stamps in each row.

if the stamp is a one inch square, then a rectangular page of 96 stamps would be 96 one-inch stamp squares, or 96 inches squared. so now figure out what times what equals 96. one example is 16 x 6.
