For starters, drink alot more water (not soda or anything else). It will help flush the toxens that cause pimples out of your bloodstream.

Secondly, watch your diet. Chocolate and french fries are the worst things you can eat. Try eating more leafy vegtables. They help keep you regular, which, like I said before, flushes toxins out of the body.

For between 1/2-1hour a night, put a hot wash cloth compress on the breakout areas. When your done, flush your skin with cool water, and then use use an alcohol compress on area of breakout.

Exercise more. Sweating helps flush the skin and keeps the pores open.

Try not to let becoming a teenager stress you too much. This is a major cause of acne breakout. My wife is 37, and she has this happens a lot whenever she starts letting things get on her nerves. I realize you are going through a very hard phase in your life right now, but try to find ways to relieve your stress.

Finally, realize that you are going through the puberty process, and, with some teens, this is a natural reaction. You may be able to slow it somewhat, but it may just be something you'll have to deal with until your body has gone through the change.

Popping pimples is a big NO-NO!!! I know they can be ugly, (especially the blackheads) but popping them spreads the infection to other areas of your face, along with the rest of the body as well.

I know what you're going through, because I had the same problem when I was your age. Try not to let it stress you too much. It should only be a temporary thing, as your body goes through this growing up adjustment.

Hey hun if you live in the UK you can get Quinoderm cream from the pharmacy. You could also try sudocreme (it's meant for nappy rash and stuff but coz it has zinc in it, it's just generally good for the skin). Make sure you exfoliate regularly (St Ives do a great apricot scrub); say twice a week or so. This will stop dead skin cells and excess oil clogging your pores. Try also to steam your face over a bowl of hot water (keeping a towel over your head) for 5-10mins twice a week, but on a different day to exfoliating. This will help open your pores and when you clean your skin after, all the build up in your skin will be removed. Remember to eat healthily too; you can't look good on the outside if you're not looking after yourself on the inside too! Include as many fruits and vegetables as you can in your diet and also oily fish such a mackerel, tuna or salmon. And of course, make sure you drink as much water as you can! Mineral supplements can also be beneficial-you can get these in most health stores. Try taking a zinc and a selenium supplement once a day; your skin needs these nutrients to keep healthy. Hope I helped and if you need any more advice just message me!

Try going to your doctor, they can prescribe differin or some other topical medicine to put on your face. My daughter did this and her acne was bad. After just a couple of weeks of using the medicine, it cleared up completely! proactive and all those other ''pimple fighting'' creams did nothing for her. Good Luck!

I've found my diet makes a lot of difference. You might want to think about what you have been eating and drinking. Watch and see it your face gets better or worse after you've had certain things. My face always got better with fresh food...esp. fruits & veggies...only use olive oil? no heavy fats. ;) Wish you all the best!!

just be careful not to aggravate your skin with a whole bunch of promised cures...with everything..you'll probably get worse before you get better...use nothing that contains alcohol or anything that is going to mess up the balance in your skin. When you try a product..try it for awhile before you make a judgement on it because your skin needs time to get used to a product.

Pro-Active is the treatment to swear by, I know several teens who have used it and it cleared up their faces. Also Phisoderm products are pretty good. Quick zap of a zit use toothpaste overnight.
