First of all, congratulations on the highly poetic way you put it!
Second, do you mean inner peace? If yes, then, it certainly is!

It is. It is the precondition that prepares us, first by emptying what is man-made from the cup, then leaving space for the divine energy to fill the void, in whatever way is considered wisdom. It is also the precondition for becoming conscious of emotional movements at the energetic level, thereby allowing us direct access to the activity of the sub-conscious. Only by arriving at such silence can a person truly discover how they feel and what they really want, even if it be nothing at all. Only by experiencing such silence as a matter of will and intent may a person truly understand that there is one world of which we are each an essential part, not a word or idea, but a breathing aspect of the whole.

No , inner voice is the holy grail of spiritual endeavor. Inner silence is the calm before the storm, a pregnant pass before the first act.

No. Inner silence is still a subjective experience. But it is easiest to transcend the subjective in silence, hence the prevalence of contemplation/meditation in spiritual practise.
Transcendence is the goal of spiritual endeavour. ie enlightenment, awakening, resurrection, whatever flavour you prefer.

ok stranger... the ego is the character that develops from the differentiation of the senses and the Holy Grail isn't, as some have faith, Mary Magdalene's infant via Jesus. it is the balancing of the female and male innovations interior of each and every individual that defuses the character and gadgets one in the main appropriate direction on their way homestead, to Oneness and non-separation. for this reason it quite is Holy.

Only with clarity; inner silence alone cannot interpret its secrets. Inner silence alone cannot even give any criteria for saying it corresponds to anything but an anomoly of the nervous system. It can be an empirical gold mine, but only when properly understood.

i believe inner silence is the first lesson towards enlightenment. A person must be truly still both without and within in order to hear what the soul has to say. oyour mind needs to stop shouting in order to hear it whisper...
