Does anyone know if metropcs plans are any good... I've heard they are ok then I heard they weren't. This question is for Texas residents.

MetroPCS is good only if you don't roam and you have trouble keeping you bill under control. They do flat rate plans, but if you go outside their coverage area your phone won't work.

Im not in Texas, but Sacramento was one of ther first five(?) cities they had reception in, so I think we should be a valid model on how reception in your city will be like.
Awfull. People in my town appreciate the low rates, but also have nicknamed MetroPCS GhettoPCS.
I don't know anyone in Sacramento who would say their reception is decent. As a matter of fact, I'm confident that if you randomly asked Sacramentans for the company with the worst cellular reception. 95-99% of them would say Metro.
