Yeah, the above pretty much covers it. With climate you select a temperature and the heater, controlled by a module, adjusts itself continually to maintain that temperature. Air con is just either on or off and you adjust controls manually.

Earlier answers are mainly correct. I have climate control Given the choice I'd pick air conditioning because climate control sometimes does silly things like pumping warm air when it decides the interior is too cool, in spite of sun blasting through the windscreen. One of those features which is actually no improvement.

Air condition acts as a booster to the normal cooler fan. Climate control is more precise and thermostatically controlled to give a more accurate temperature.

Air conditioner is cooling only,climate control is a combination of cooling and heating.It turns on the ac when needed and also the heater when needed so the temp stays constant whatever the outside temp is.

Most early air conditioners have high, medium and low settings whereas a climate controlled one have a thermostat where the temperature can be controlled.

Ac is controlled by you, and where you set your dials. Climate control means that there is a thermostat in your car and acts like the central air in your house. Will come on when the interior temperature gets below or above a certain setting and shut off when the temperature gets below or above a certain setting Just set it and forget it. the ac will cycle on and off as needed just like your unit at home.
