If you believe you'll actually finish med school, become a doctor.

If you're not sure, find a pathologist who will let you intern/observe for awhile. Be sure you attend a few autopsies and several sessions of "cutting gross" before you decide, because med school will put you 100s of thousands in debt and is not something you want to start and then not finish.

On the other hand, since you have these questions, you obviously need to get your bachelor's degree first. There's nothing preventing you from having a dual major in both chemistry and business admin. The business admin degree would help you as a doctor, and the chemistry degree would keep a number of horizons open for you both in the business world and in science. Getting dual degrees will increase your workload enough that you can get a taste of what being in med school will be like.

Make sure the undergraduate school you attend has a medical school, too. Its slightly easier to get into med school if its also where you went as an undergrad.

If you are 'really' asking this question with the limited knowledge you have given us, maybe something else might by in your future.

If you really - really have a desire, the grades, the income, etc.
to become either of these professionals, you are the only one with the answer!!

good luck in your choices.

Only you can decide which path you should choose. This is your future, so you alone must make the decision.
