right now i listen to songs from rocky/karate kid and also some michael jackson/madonna and a little hard core punk. any ideas on some good music to keep me energized during my workouts?

"Blow me away" by Breaking Benjamin always gets my pumped up, especailly at shooting ranges.
"Show me the money" by Petey Pablo is a good one as well as "Next contestant" by Nickelback.

I listen to the soundtrack from Moulin Rouge - I know I know. But it has a warm up song, then Lady Marmalade, then the can-can song which is very techno with a fast beat. I play it through a few times to get through the elyptical. The rest is slower, but the beginning is good.

My all time favorite is FAINT (Linkin Park). It's great for that midway slump when my body is screaming to stop...gives me a second wind. I also like Lose My Breath (Destiny's Child) for a little bit of a kick at the end or a jumpstart for the beginning.
