I know someone who was convicted of a felony (1st degree burglary, 7 counts of violating a no contact order, taking a motor vehicle without permission, etc.... The person now has 2 felonys on their record and served about 1 year in jail. They are out now and I am wondering how long they are on probation for. He recently violated his no contact order and it was reported. Im wondering what will happen and if this is a violation of his probation

His probation officer could file a PTR (petition to revoke) on his probation if the Officer has knowledge that the person has violated the no contact order.

If you are the one he is supposed to stay away from, call the probation office and ask to speak to the officer for this person. Emphasize that you are in fear and ask what might happen.
