I think BIG OIL finally realized their unbridled greed was hurting their buddies in Congress. They know that if the dems get back control of the house and/or senate, there may be some rough water ahead for wealthy arrogant corporations. Politics and business as usual in America. It will cost them a lot of money to buy off the new group in power.
An oversupply of oil may have something to do with it also.

Because the election in November is coming and the "politicians" want you to feel good about "them" bringing the price down, but after Nov. elections be sure to lube up and bend over cause "their" going to stick it back to you.

its going down cause summer is over and they dont have all the travellers to kick in the pocket book anymore. it happens every summer.
