because simplest questions are easy to answer and so easy 2 points. harder questions need some thinking and same 2 points so a lot of people look for easy 2 points and not for difficult 2 points.

I have wondered this myself and I think it is a matter of not wanting to spare the time to put thought into answering, so if it's a simple yes or no, or coke/pepsi kind of quesion people weigh in more readily. Plus as polls and market researchers have known for years, people love to be asked their opinion!!
Hope this helps...and I understand your angst, you go to all of the trouble of asking something you really want to know or need help on and you get maybe 5-6 answers but if you are merely bored and say "Who's hotter Brad Pitt or Jude Law?" you get 120....LOL

Becuase they are the simplest questions to answer. Plus, people don't like to read much. At least I know I don't.

the brain activity it takes to answer simple questions is at a low and the other at a high. And people want to stay in the low brain wave activity. It was just a guess anyways
