Absolutely NOT. If the president wants to speak to God, so be it, that is his business, HOWEVER do not make it MY business and do NOT attempt to govern me because of your so called discussion with god. Many people throughout the ages have talked with god and have been convinced that they should do this or that. Many of these same people have killed other people because God told them to do so. The MAJORITY of wars have come about because of RELIGION. Everyone should have the choice of having religion or not. I am not against religion but do not put religion into governing America. The president should NOT use his personal intuition when it comes to governing. America was NOT designed for one person to use his personal intuition to govern. Hitler used his personal intuition to rule Germany, look what happened to him and Germany. Hirohito used his personal intuition to rule Japan, same result. One person CANNOT effectively govern any country, unless everyone there is brain-dead. America has the most acceptable form of government in the world, when it is run the way that it should be. Unfortunately, at this time our government is a joke. Greed, corruption, lack of responsibility, ethics, morals and etc. Religion in America is very popular, but also very biased. Religion does not let homosexuals marry in America...Everyong in America probably has a friend that is a homosexual, whether they know it or not. No, i am not gay, but i have a very close relative that is gay. What two gay people do is their own business, not the governments. However in America because of religion and our government, it has become the governments business. Other countries accept homosexuals, after all they are people. Religion has divided America now more than ever. Religion is coming from the White House, it should NOT be. Keep religion in the White House Mr. President if that is what you so desire. I do NOT want it in MY house coming from the White House. Remember Mr. president, that house is also my house, you are NOT a permanent resident there. I and the rest of America pay the bills on that house, you can be evicted if you do NOT care for that house. At the present time you are NOT being a very good housekeeper.

No, the US government is not a theocracy. Our founding fathers clearly wanted a separation of church and state, they had already witnessed the Church of England abusing its power. Theocratic government policies also discriminate against other religions and non-religious citizens, who are guaranteed equal rights. Quite frankly, there is also no evidence of a God providing guidance to presidents. Intuition is superstitious nonsense and has no place in government policy. Too often leaders of nations use theocracy as an excuse for unquestioned authority on executive powers.

some people say that the Bible says to obey our governments and the laws....I wonder which government wrote the Bible or interpreted it into the way we are lead to believe it to say??? The meaning of God and his word is within and not a church or a written word. I see it as being within all to know when they are doing right or wrong and the laws are there to guide us, but again who wrote it all??? I am a believer in God , but when did HE write this book of control ? I would really love to see and hear the true writings and see what is hidden from all of us. The Bible has so many variations and loses or gains bits and pieces according to the one or the church that is doing the interpretaions too.. For ages it was all fire and brimstone and fear control and in LATIN so you and I were never sure what the guy in the robe was saying to be true...think and be honest and be kind and help, and I see it all in a way being fine...use your head and smile when doing so too and see kindness grow when you are kind. The government uses God and his word to make themselves look worthy of what they as a person saying GOD is my word....he or she wants to look the part, yet beware of self appointed and self controlling people with power. PS: I am not a rebel or a religious nut, I am just me and I express myself and see all sides.

Yes. The best leaders throughout history have relied on their intuition and faith - not soley, but as guidance and a source of strength in tough times. Abraham Lincoln is just one example.

Even the Bible says we should be following the laws of our country, so therefore, our government.

So apparently even the Almighty thinks we should be governed by our elders and the authorities.

We're only human beings after all, and perhaps we need other human beings to 'govern' our earthly lives.

As they say, you can't live on love and fresh air.

What up Marine. each little thing contained in the note of God has a twin which skill to it. you could continually change into responsive to God’s note from the attitude of Enlightenment or you could change into responsive to it from the attitude of Redemption. because God is both a conventional God and a own God. The enlightenment attitude of God’s note is authentic because it really is the Gnosis and conventional reality of God (Elohim) yet the different 0.5 of the reality famous God as Salvation. it really is the own aspect of the reality printed contained in the Son of God Jesus Christ.
