yes, we had an amiga, it was my first introduction to computers. We wanted something that could play games and do word processing. I found it so mind-boggling, the wonder of it kept me awake half the night, I mean, how could the same machine be a flight simulator, play a game like new Zealend story, allow you to paint pictures, AND let you do word processing? How amazing was it?
Our favourite game was Dungeon Master. Far from it being a machine that destroyed family relationships, this was a game we played together as a family, solving the puzzles together, helping us to find our way, keeping our eyes peeled for keys and swithes etc, it was really great, really good bonding stuff.
I also enjoyed Lemmings, New Zealand Story, TETRIS!!! and as for the formula One game, well, that got us hooked onto the real thing. We still watch it now after all these years
Other members of the family also enjoyed driving, flying, etc and I really have to mention Sensible Soccer - more hours of bonding!

I didn't have that many, but I remember "King Of Chicago" (I think that was the name) about gangsters, and I liked "Battlehawks 1941", but it was a pain in the rear to play with a monochrome monitor.
I never did like my Amiga 500 that much...the number of "Guru Meditations" I suffered made Windows look reliable.
The Apple II was always the greatest; it was to computing what DOOM was to action gaming.
