then turn around and say something equally racist and stereotypical in their answer. Then call the people ignorant and say racist are stupid. Do they even realize what has come out of their mouths or should I say, typed from their fingers.

I think it's good to discuss real differences and false stereotypes. It's obvious it's a hot topic and everyone has questions or you wouldn't see it as much. Ignoring it doesn't make it go away. But exploring it in a healthy way can be an enlightning experience.

A lot of people claim to not be racist, but in actuality they are. It's just a subconscious thing and they don't realize they are doing it. A lot of it has to do with how they were raised. They were probably raised to think a certain way, and not think or realize that it is racist

I dont know. I like to state, that I see a trend of so many people, espically younger people, NOT being racist. I see them correcting others, their age and older than them -even within their race- to not make stupid comments about stereotypes of any race.

I hear them say it only keeps it at the forefront of life. I like these kinds of statements...I like younger folks correcting people, mixing up the races so much, that we really all become one big blend of races....its a trip to think about.

I could be totally wrong though! Maybe that's how I think-see the person for the person, so that's what Im hearing! You are drawn to what is similar to you.

i have to say most people are racist to a degree, whether it be about a race, religion, culture, disability, gender.

i have to say since i have became handicap, i have found people who fall in a stereotypical attitude more often toward the handicap.

before my accident, i could walk in a office, apply for a job and get an interview immediately. NOW when i wheel in an office, and inquire about a job, HELL sometimes i don't even get the application for the position. so i might be falling in the category of being stereotyped of being handicap and there are a lot of people who wonder: what can a handicap person do?

so i catch myself talking about the non-handicap people in a way i would not have thought of before my accident which made me handicap.

pardon me for my attitude toward non-handicap people.

I gown "white," aka sort installation/do not care, and that i used to get an identical feedback from human beings of my race growing to be up, each and every of how by extreme college. as quickly as you're out of highschool, it wears off, a minimum of for me because of the fact i ended speaking to a great style of those human beings. each and every form of ethnicity has "stereotypical" human beings, yet be happy which you will think of outdoors the container of stereotypes. the international is yours, you will by no potential takeover with stupid human beings interior the way. in simple terms call them close-minded some extra, see their reaction. in the event that they don't supply up, drop 'em.
