how come a lot people who are mixed race get so offended when people assume they are full-black? I really don't see what is so offensive. But when they get mistaken for being hispanic/latino or middle eastern, they don't seem to get offended at all. they usually take it as a compliment.

Oh. We are not suppose to imply that. This nation tries so hard to convince everyone Kim Crow has been escorted from the building when in truth, the moment you get Jim Crow to the lobby, someone invites him back in. It is like being at a BBQ and one of the guest is slumped on the chaise lounge, eyes rolled in back, blood oozing from his mouth and nose, a Glock 9mm loosely held in his hand, and half the back of his skull and most of his brains decorating the slider. Every one see what happened, but no one wants to call it as it is, they want to say "he is just resting". Test after test has shown that if you have a black-sounding name, Mercedes, Tamika, Jamal, Leron, etc, you have a greater chance of having your job application passed over without a look. Because the peoplp of Africa seem to have lagged for centuries in the technical area compared to their European and Asian counter parts, they were viewed as inferior and not equal. Hence the centuries of colonization, enslavement, discrimination etc. It has been ingrained on a subconscious level that Africa and or it decentance as a whole are just not that capable. And other races are due to the technical, medical and artistic advances made by them, and their influence on the World stage. There is no region in Sub Sharan Africa that is looked upon as a world class hub of technology or anything. That is why wars there much worse than those in the Middle east with far more death and suffering goes relatively unnoticed.

All the mixed people I've know never get offended if considered full black. I've never heard of them taking it as a compliment for being mistaken for somthing else though.
