China has it's Army guarding the roads to the industrial centers to keep farmers from going to work in the factorys.
With a looming food shortage China need to force people to stay on the farm.

The guest worker program worked just fine from 1944 to 1964 when it ended.
There is no reason a Mexican citizen should not be able to work if Americans can also work in Mexico.

Immigration wont solve any problem regarding a labour shortage for China! Whats next ..human cloning. Duh!
If you think China has a shortage, Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States too!
To suggested China need to force people to stay on the farm, maybe you should also suggest to some Americans to work as a servant and driving a cab!

I have to agree with Willis, all the immigrants want is to work, not take over or anything like that. Plus, they get treated unfairly by their employers. They're not a threat to anyone, unless you want to work in the fields or cleaning bathrooms etc...So I don't see the whole point of building a fence. And I don't think we should 'ship' them anywhere that's just mean.

Better would be to have them buy more of our farm products.
Remember that the oil of the future is water, and America controls 50% of the potable fresh water in the world!

Why don't people want immigrants? As long as they pay taxes they can contribute.
We are insecure as a society if we view more citizens as a threat.
