It depends where in Florida you live.

Try googling the name of your town or county and rental license. Or you could just call your town and ask if you need the license for your specific situation (non-seasonal rental, etc)

I live in NJ and so many landlords do not have a freaking clue that their rental units must be registered.

As a property owner, you can buy, sell or rent real estate without a license provide that the property or properties involved are yours.

As far as renting the condos are concerned, some condo by-laws allow you to do what ever want with it. Others may have restrictions as to whether you can have short term rentals or long term rentals and how many times you may rent the condo out a year. A quick way to find out is to gave a call to your condo association's office. Your condo docs (you should have a copy when you bought the property) also should have that information there as well.

Never heard of a renter's license! Check your condo association by-laws on renting your unit out. Some have restrictions on non-owner occupied units. Even if they have one, check with an attorney to see if it's legally enforceable; some states have declared those null and void.

NOPE .. just be careful WHO you rent to. Be sure to run a credit check on person you are renting to to be sure you don't get ripped off..
