well, im getting ready to go to this dance for 7th and 8th graders and last year my mom made me dress up and everyone said it looked like i was going to a ball........so this year i want something fashionable but not so dressy......i was thinking a black cotton skirt with grey or brown leggings.....but I have no idea what to wear as a top last year a lot of people wore polo shirts but I don't think I want to wear a polo shirt I was thinking a shirt ensamble from abercrombie......but I'm open 4 anything!!!!.....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

first, learn how to spell ensemble now i will give you some advice
the polo idea is an excellent one... if it's a more casual dance try wearing a black polo and a white cotton mini, but not a denim one, beacue thats tacky. With your polo, try lacoste or Ralph Lauren you're not going to impress anyone with an abercrombie polo...now for the shoes... wedges would be your best bet... maybe from J. Crew or Nordstrom , but make sure they have white and or black accents to pull everything together you can dress this up with a strand of pearls.
Now, if its a more formal dance you might want to dry a nice dress ( but not too dressy)... now when purchasing your dress DO NOT buy it from a tacky store like forever 21...i swear last night was homecoming and the girls in running were all wearing tacky forever 21 dresses and tacky shoes and i was so ashamed...i would try a little black dress maybe with a chunky necklace... i dont know if you're allowed to wear heel but try kitten if you can or flats, whichever....good luck i know you'll look fablulous!

well when I was in 7th grade and went to a dance...I wore nice jeans and a pretty top...then in 8th grade when I had my semi I wore an awesome minidress
I dont know what kid of dance this is but DO NOT wear leggings...those are just for like a casual outfit

well,OK leggings are OK but jeans might be better.Abercrombie and American eagle have the best selection of Cami's,if you really are blond,you might want to go with a green or red Cami with a mini short sleeved sweater or a vneck sweater.

You have to figure out what shoes to wear first then you work around that. trust i know fashion is definitely my thing. Email me if you want to come up with something if not GOOD LUCK!
