The unknown number of people on the airliner

Because yes, the baby is innocent but whose to say there aren't lots of babies or children on the jet airliner?- they are innocent too. Also, the baby will grow up to be an adult one day and will no longer be innocent.

The people on the airliner could be doctors, nurses, scientists, teachers, parents, etc. They could be people who contribute a lot to the world. There may even be a pregnant woman on the plane, whose baby is just as innocent as the newborn.

The lives on the plane. It's simple math. Even though we don't know the number of people on the 747... there are at least two, the pilot and the copilot. And then there's the possibility that more lives could be lost when the plane goes down.

You might as well flip a coin. Some people said the baby because the people on the plane might be child rapists or murderers... well the baby might grow up to be the worst serial killer in history, or invent a new weapon of mass destruction just as easily. The fact is this question does not give enough information to allow the answer to have the impact that the asker wants it to have. Try re-asking something like "Would you rather save a baby who would grow up to be a serial killer or a whole plane of rapists?"

The people on-board the 747. Why? Greater number of people and each one of them matters to another greater number of people -- their families and friends for instance.

The newborn baby matters less. What if I spare him/her then when he/she grows up he/she becomes an ásshole or a pain in the butt? I just might kill myself then in regret for making the wrong choice.

I would choose the people on the plane. Because they might be more than just one life who already have families, friends, lovers... A life!
While the newborn baby hasn't started its life yet and only the parents would miss it, they could get a new one anyway.

I would choose the baby. Because it could do great things in the world and I have no idea how many people are on the plane. What if its only a few people? And what if the people did bad things to others?

THE LIFE OF AN UNKNOWN NUMBER OF PASSENGER ON AN AIRLINER. WHY?

If the Baby dies (he/she) will go to heaven directly, because he/she's innocent of anything. doesn't any good or bad things this world has. while, the unknown number of passenger in an airliner could be in a very dangerous position when it comes to their salvation. some of them might be saved and some could not be. either all will perish with their sins, or only one could be save. and God will not be happy in the death of an individual if he or she does not know God.

I would break the rules and tell the angel to put me on the plan and take me and spare the rest of them. Why, because if the angel came to ask me in the first place I must hold some special value greater than even I realize so I would exchange that value for the lives off everyone.

I'd choose the people on plane -- because that choice saves the greater number of lives (or at the very least, an equal number of lives assuming the plane has at least one person on it).

I would tell him to leave and not take a choice but rather defeat the bad elemnet with the authority I have.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.
