If you just want to hide it, in Internet Explorer click view then toolbars and untick the yahoo toolbar if you want it back just go back and tick it again, however if you want to take it off completely on the desktop click my computer if it's not there click start, settings, with the my computer page open double click add/remove programs now scroll down to near the bottom and the yahoo toolbar is there click change/remove, you might have to restart your computer.
