Fly

Fly, fly little wings
Fly far beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven’s love
Past the planets and the stars
And fly again

Fly, fly precious ones
Your endless journeys has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this mem’ry bittersweet
Until we meet

Fly, fly do not fear
Don’t waste a breath, don’t shed a tear
Your hearts are pure, your souls are free
Be on your way, don’t wait for us
Above the universe you’ll climb
And beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But we won’t forget

Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away the time is right
Go now find the light

I'd play a lot of Fallout Boy or Panic! at the Disco, not because I like these bands, but rather to punish my funeral guests. I figure if I have to go, my family/friends should be made to suffer as well. Just kidding (sort of).

I guess I would play "There is a light that never goes out" by the smiths.

I can't really enforce my decision at my funeral (what with all the dead I'll be and whatnot) so I decided to have a rehearsal funeral (like wedding rehearsal) before I die - both to make sure everything goes right and so I can enjoy my own hard-earned death. I have already decided long ago that the theme song to my funeral will be "Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boingo, but that's probably because I'm ancient.
