I definitely don't have any respect for anyone who can't spell or use proper grammar.

As for soldiers, yes, I respect the hell out of them, even if I don't agree with every war they fight.

There have been WWII, Korean war, and Vietnamese war reunions with soldiers from both sides who have embraced each other as brothers. Both sides respecting the other.

Do I respect the mercenary who just kills for money? No

Do I respect the soldier who puts his life on the line for his country? Absolutely! God bless them!

A soldier is sworn to defend the country he is fighting for. In this case the United States of America if he lives where I live. When he is sworn to defend the constitution and all it stands for, foreign and domestic, which means a person from another country who is against us as well as a person from OUR own country who wants to hurt us, it is the duty of this soldier to protect the country he is sworn to protect. If that means he is to kill them, so be it. He gets paid because it is his job. Would he do it for free..YES he would. Why? Because of his love for the country he/she and his/her fellow soldiers have. Why? because so many of them have laid their lives for the country we live in now. Why? Because of the freedoms we enjoy. So yes. I do have PLENTY of respect for that soldier that not only kills but for the same soldier that sacrifices and gives HIS or HER own life to defend my freedom.

I have a great deal of respect for our soldiers. They are fighting for our freedom, safety and protection. Why would they then turn around and kill us themselves. It's called war. You have a problem.

It's his job to kill. Why would I disrespect him for doing his job, and why would I fear he'd kill me as a civilian? I wouldn't fear that at all!
