Were you sad? I was, but I think I would have been more sad if Dean was the one who died. By the way, what did the Demon mean when he told the father something about Sam being special and "other children like him?"

Well, if you'll forgive speculation, I would suppose that Sam is a child with a connection, perhaps by blood, to the dark side, or to the light; it could even be a generational thing, like the 7th generation of the 7th generation. The Demon's interest is likely either in gathering them together for power, or in controlling them to protect himself from their collective power.

Yeah, I thought it was sad that the father died, but I am glad that Dean didn't die. I think what the demon meant was that Sam is psychic and can move things with his mind. Remember in the first season, that Sam would have a dream about something bad happening and then Sam and Dean would try to prevent it from happening. Also, Sam was able to move that armoire that was in front of the closet door that Sam was trapped behind. It was in the episode where this young man was trying to kill his step-mother (he had already killed his father and their neighbor).

ah i thought it was really sad too. yes it would have been even more sad if dean died, but he's pretty much the main character, so there would be no show. ohhh i had no idea what the demon meant either, if you find out let me know.

I haven't watched the show yet. I have heard really good things about it, especially that it is a good new show for Buffy fans. I need to find out what night it comes on. I haven't gotten to see Heroes yet either. I'm really glad there's such a variety of sci-fi shows on!

Sorry don't watch it, I love Heroes on NBC though it's the second sci-fi show I've ever likes after X files.
