I would want one that uses energy efficiently rather than one that doesn't use any energy. For an energy efficient house I would like to have natural insulation on the roof - Soil and vegetation, triple glazed windows thick stone walls and wooden floors throughout and one that uses all the garden waste to heat my water.

One with a pig toilet, as in Goa, India. Basically you have an enclosed pig pen complete with porkers, and a small privvy that backs into the pen. I used one last year on holiday. Only thing is, when you start your business the pigs come running. You can feel their breath on your tackle, honest! Brilliantly eco-fantastic.

Just stay off the pork.
