If they are newly installed hardwares and haven't detected even once then remove hardwares and load the system without them. Then switch off the system and re-connect them. They should be picked up. If still they are not detected then you might have developed errors in your software may be due to virus. Then you got to format drive C and re-load the windows (Operating system) and connect these hardwares. Nothing to worry, it appears to be a software issue only and generally by formatting the drive and re-loading windows usually works.

Check your BIOS settings. Make sure everything is correct, if not change it and save it. Are the drives showing up in "My Computer"? If not, check the BIOS. Have you added any new hardware or software to your computer? You may have a conflict. If the drives show in "My Computer" and do not function, un-install them in the device manager and re-boot the computer. That re-installs the drivers.

Need more information...Something has obviously changed. It could be either hardware-related or software-related.

What software did you install recently? Have you moved your computer?
