This isn't homework, I'm studying for a test on logarithms and am unsure of how to figure something that seems so simple out in a manner I can remember.


As far as I can tell, the answer should be
y = -2

But I'd still like to know if I am correct and if so, how that answer can be easily reached.

Yes, the horizontal asymptote is y = -2.
