You can go to Balboa Park; there are lots of museums and stuff to do around there. Horton Plaza in downtown SD is really cool too. It's just a mall but it looks amazing; I always love to go there. The Hotel del Coronado is beautiful too. I don't know when you're coming, but I heard in December, they make an ice skating rink practically on the beach! I haven't been to Seaport Village yet but I heard it's a great place. Also, there are two little cafe-type places called Extraordinary Desserts that supposedly everyone has to go to when they visit SD. I believe one's in Hillcrest and the other's downtown.

The zoo of course! And a place call Balboa park (not sure on the spelling) I was born there! But they have shopping and two museums. Plenty of restaurants. There is one where the front door is like you are entering into a whales mouth.

you can go to all the above, and the san diego wild animal park is my fav. it's a beautiful city and i looooove it, you'll have fun there and you're gonna love it there.
