I loved the Barney Miller show it always made me laugh Abe/Fish mr pestimistic had that sorrowful look and the spin off from that show was Fish which also I loved

I use to watch that show w/my brother and father, I was really young when it first came out, but I watched it in re-runs. I really remember the episode where there were hash in some brownies and the one oriental guy said mushy,mushy.

OK man, we're showing our age here but you're right, Barney Miller wsn't just funny, it was pure, well-thought and clean humor. They don't make them like BM, MASH, or The Odd Couple--grea classics!

I loved that show! I loved Wojo. One of my favorite eposides where some guy they had in the jail cell thought he was a werewolf.

One of the few cop shows other than Hill Street Blues & Chips that I could stand watching.Great ensemble cast too. Loved Abe Vigoda.Todays cop/dectective shows I dunno, kind of bore me. The characters take themselves way too seriously and are completely humorless.That means of course they provide more comedic material for comedy shows.I do like that.
