PROACTIV did almost nothing at first. After a month, I started losing some zits, butnothing major. I have oily skin with red bumps on my cheeks and proactiv just irritated my face and it irritated me that I had to pay that much for something that DID NOT WORK.

I started using Proactive a few years ago. That was when I was pretty young and hadn't had a real problem with acne, but used it so that I wouldn't have a problem. I can say that I still use it today and as long as I have used it regularly, I have not had a big problem with acne. It does a pretty good job of clearing up major problems in a short time (a few days). It's good enough to say that I would be scared to see what would happen to my face without it.

my acne was horrible around the hairlines and cheecks on my face. Proactive took about a month to really start working. It was a miracle for 2 months after that then slowly stopped working. I;m on a higher benzoyl peroxide cream now. and i'm moving on to accutane. I think it made my acne worse. good luck. everyone's skin is different

I used acne free but it just dried out my face. I'm going to try using proactive.

ProActiv Solution did not change my life. ProActiv did the same thing that Clean and Clear did for me. I HIGHLY recommend Sea Breeze Astringent, though. All blemishs vanish within a week and very few pop up now. Do it once or twice daily for a sleek look. ProActiv was a waste of my money.

I had really bad acne. Pro-activ is great to keep the skin clean so i would use it as a cleanser. I would recommend Biore' to clean deeper than pro-activ ..it gets into the pores deep. u can get it at Wal-Mart...it's a lot cheaper.

Proactiv didn't work for me well. I gave up on it. My doctor gave me "Duac" and "Differen"(I soo didn't want to use differen because of their dumb commercials, lol). I have seen improvement but not alot.
