Cant think of anything else but Wolf Creek. As it has you shouting at the screen (willing the victims on)because its based on a true story of Backpackers being Kidnapped and tortured. It starts out all nicey nice and then the car breaks down and gets towed by at first a nice guy then he ties them up when they go to sleep and gets worse from there (Truly Creepy). Its a must see a real eye opener. This just an example of a crazed maniac. This movie is enough to put you off backpacking in Aus altogether.

It's called Phantom's. It has Ben Affleck, Rose Mcgowan, and the Liev Shrober in it. Truly a frightening movie.

For me it was 'the night of the Hare'.... that was one scary damn movie, and I saw it in the day light with a friend and we both were so scared we couldnt get out of our car once we got in the driveway until my boyfriend got home.
