She just had the baby a month ago. Guaranteed she doesn't want to be separated from her child for a moment at this stage.
Wrap up a BD gift for her, pack a picnic lunch full of yummies and a small bottle of wine, and take her and the baby stroller to a park for an afternoon picnic party for 3. It involves the baby and is a close, personal way to celebrate her birthday.

If she has just had a baby she is possibly feeling fat, ugly, exhausted. How about you and she spend an afternoon at a spa together somewhere with a hot tub/sauna and a massage, and facial and the works. Its pricey, but a good hag doesn't come along every day!
Have fun

I suggest that she is in need of some serious "pampering." She sounds like she is going through post-partum depression, a normal event due to the huge shift in hormones after giving birth. What a massage-for-two, where the masseuse(s) come to your home, and you are both treated to a lovely relaxing time? If you know of someone who will babysit, that would be a good thing to arrange ahead of time. Flowers (and champagne) is/are always nice (provided she is not breastfeeding, of course). And don't forget the card!

Spa Day!
If she's just had a baby, its likely she's feeling worn out, run down, and at her wits end. Let someone else watch the baby for an afternoon and go get mani/pedis, facials, and massages. She will feel worlds better and will remember the thoughtfulness.

make this "Her DAy" gift her with a massage session, followed by lunch or dinner out. Arrange for her to have all the attention directed to her on this her special day. Make arrangements to have someone gift her with babysitting for a few hours in order to give her a break and some special attention that she deserves.

Do something special and romantic. She may say she doesn't care, but two things are affecting this:
1. she just had a baby, and this could be an onset of post-partum depression.
2. she wants you to think of something original.
So go for it! Have fun!

She needs to feel desirable again as a woman!!!

Trust me, as a mother, I remember what I felt like just after I had my son.

Get her something to make her feel sexy! Lingerie, Honey Dust, a Day Spa gift certificate. Something that just showcases her sensuality as a woman!

get her a baby sitter and take her to a nice spa day, or do something at home - like cooking her a dinner and watching a nice movie indoors.
