I personally would not recommend that. I don't believe in abotions. The way I see it is your old enough to spread your legs and the father and this is the consequence. If anything I would recommend putting the child up for adoption if you think you don't think that you want to keep the child put them up for adoption.
Don't worry about what others might think of you.There is a lot of financial help out there. Just get help. I'd recommend seeing a counselor as well. Sometimes abortions mess your insides up real bad! It might be difficult for you to carry another child down the road if you decide to have a baby later on in life! Don't do any thing you'd regret.

Normally, I'm pro-choice, but this is one exception. In my opinion, if a girl is old enough to have sex, then she's old enough to raise the child that comes as a result. Just because of the girl's mistake, the baby shouldn't take the blame. Even if it's an extraordinary case-such as pregnancy due to rape-still, you should give birth. Look at the reasons.
If you were to have an abortion,
> You'd go through complications that might threaten your life and your ability to give birth/get pregnant again.
> The baby will get punished unfairly.
> You'll commit a murder.
> And you'll feel SO guilty for the rest of your life.
> Abortion is NOT- I repeat- NOT- a way of birth control. Try abstinence or safe sex-please.

> Once the abortion is complete, you can NEVER get it back or go back to the way things used to be.
Why suffer have yourself and the baby suffer through the torture of abortion? Look at the benefits of giving birth:
> The baby will have a bright future. Who knows? The baby might become the brilliant scientist who discovers the cure to AIDS!
> If you want the baby you can keep it.
> If you don't want the baby, then you could give it to a grateful family who is incapable of having a child on their own.
> You'll feel the satisfaction of giving the soul a chance to experience life.
> You can give the child away very early, so you can "forget" about it and not feel bad about aborting it.
> You'll be more capable of getting pregnant again, since your body is used to that state of pregnancy.
I'm taking this from an ethical, social, moral, justified, religious, and scientific point of view. I hope that all pregnant women out there stop abortion and give the child a life.
Oh, and by the way, teenagers should NEVER be having sex. In fact, sex should NOT happen before marriage, in my opinion.

no abortion is not just wrong for the moral reasons but If you have an abortion you may not ever be able to have kids later(its not safe) and the baby can feel the abortion and depending on how far along you are you will be able to feel the baby's pain but if your talking about you no you should not have kids the grammar bad Bad BAD plus there are some many people who would love to adopt a baby
but most of all its not that baby's fault that its here but the fault of the irresponsible parents with no self control unless under more sad circumstances(rape ect.)but you should still let the baby be adopted

Um, a teenager should not even be having sex.
I would say no, unless other circumstances, such as rape, incest, or other health reasons are involved.
Abortion is not a form of birth control, and, not to be to harsh, but if the teenager is thinking about abortion because they were careless, they must be very immature, and selfish.
If it's simply a matter of not being ready, or not being able to handle it, there are about a million childless couples out there who are simply waiting in line to adopt.
Tell them to take time with that decision...it's ultimately up to the woman(or girl I should say), but, that decision affects a life.
Besides, 15 or 16 is a little young to be making a decision that could possibly haunt you for the rest of you life.

No. Even if this is a mistake in your life, it could be the most wonderful event in the life of a couple that can't have a baby. It would also save you the emotional stress and regret associated with abortion.

No. I believe that abortion is wrong, as is even having to have one as a teenager. If anyone is pregnant and they do not want a baby then they should have the child and put it up for adoption. This is the best for the child in question. Doing this gives someone who wants a baby a baby, and you do not have to kill a baby before it is even born.

You should NEVER consider an abortion. A mistake must never get paid by another mistake dear. Don't you know that abortion is KILLING ???????? You baby is innocent and have the right to live. Do you know how many women want a baby ? Why don't you give your baby for adoption instead ??? He will surely thank you in future.

Need more info. tell us about the teenager....is she responsible?how old is she?.....stuff like that.....but I would say probably not because that teenager will have to live with that guilt of killing a baby.....like what would the baby look like and stuff like that.....trust my friend had an abortion at 14 and has gone through therapy and everything and will never be the same!

Do whats best for you and your partner. Being a young mother is very hard and most of the time the mother is going to raise the child by herself. You only have one life and you should live life good before having kids. Just look at your options and decide from there. Good luck and use protected sex next time. Even if you are in love.
