the best thing you can do for a grieving person is simply be there.....allow them to share whatever they need do........assure them that the person was valued and will be missed by many

comfort is found in the heart of one who truly cares

As a mother, I don't think there would be anything harder to face than losing your child. I'm not sure there are any words of comfort but maybe it would help to share the good memories you have and let her know how you felt about her son. Mostly I think all anyone can do is just be there for love and support. I think it's every parents desire to go before their children and never have to face that. My heart goes out to anyone that faces that, I can't imagine the pain they must go through. And until you've walked a mile in a man's shoes you will never truly understand. So I think that's all you can do is simply be there in their darkest hours, day or night if they need someone to talk to.

I think just you being there & giving moral support is good. Its a tough call.. No one ever knows what to say. Stay in contact with her & let her know that your there. I lost a nephew last yr to a car accident & it was horrific & still is 1 1/2 yrs later. It was even hard for me to find the words for my brother & his family. The thing that has helped them alot is the moral support of family & friends.. Just them knowing that we are there for them has helped them thru alot of this. I myself am having a difficult time with it still.. But I have very supportive friends.. So that for me has helped tremendously.

there really isn't much you can say to her that is going to make her feel better, but let her know that you are there for her. talk about your friend and the good things you both remember about that person and that they will always be with her as long as she lets them live on in her heart

think of like a guy of action, and act like a guy of concept. you won't be able to return and forth the path till you have become the path. There are purely 2 forces in the international, the sword and the spirit. in the long-term the sword will consistently be conquered via the spirit. the objective of existence is to stay an entire life of objective. All quite sensible strategies have been concept already hundreds of cases; yet to cause them to quite ours, we would desire to think of them as quickly as extra truthfully, till they take root in our own journey. existence is partly what we make it, and partly what it quite is made via the buddies we pick. Kindness is the language which the deaf will pay attention and the blind can see. Unselfish and noble movements are the main radiant pages in the biography of souls.

There is nothing you can do or say to really ease her pain. I take that back.. Take her to lunch or send her a card, Anything you do is better than nothing.
