I have been expriancing some cramps the past few days,(my period is not until the 7th). Something like that never happened to me before and usually I have very regular cycle. My breasts feel huge and sore and I have a low energy level. I wonder if that could be an implantation cramps because my HPT is negative. could it be that I'm pregnant?

Pregnancy Symptoms — Early Signs of Pregnancy
Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding pregnancy symptoms is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. Some women experience pregnancy symptoms within a week of conception. For other women, symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy symptoms.

Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test: Order my pregnancy test

Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding.

Swollen/Tender Breasts:
Swollen or tender breasts is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts; they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.

Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance, birth control pills, impending menstruation (PMS) can also cause your breasts to be swollen or tender.

Fatigue/Tiredness:
Feeling fatigued or more tired is a pregnancy symptom which can also start as early as the first week after conception.

Other Explanations: Stress, exhaustion, depression, common cold or flu, or other illnesses can also leave you feeling tired or fatigued.

Nausea/Morning Sickness:
This well-known pregnancy symptom will often show up between 2-8 weeks after conception. Some women are fortunate to not deal with morning sickness at all, while others will feel nauseous throughout most of their pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Food poisoning, stress, or other stomach disorders can also cause you to feel queasy.

Backaches:
Lower backaches may be a symptom that occurs early in pregnancy; however, it is common to experience a dull backache throughout an entire pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Impending menstruation, stress, other back problems, and physical or mental strains.

Headaches:
The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Dehydration, caffeine withdrawal, impending menstruation, eye strain, or other ailments can be the source of frequent or chronic headaches.

Frequent Urination:
Around 6-8 weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.

Other Explanations: Urinary tract infection, diabetes, increasing liquid intake, or taking excessive diuretics.

Darkening of Areolas:
If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker.

Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance unrelated to pregnancy or may be a leftover effect from a previous pregnancy.

Food Cravings:
While you may not have a strong desire to eat pickles and ice cream, many women will feel cravings for certain foods when they are pregnant. This can last throughout your entire pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Poor diet, lack of a certain nutrient, stress, depression, or impending menstruation.

if it really hurts and you could be pregnant, then you might need to see a doctor because it could be ectopic. An Ectopic pregnancy is when the egg is implanting in one of the tubes instead of the uterus; it's VERY dangerous. But if you are feeling the same as you feel when you usually get your period then I'd say you should retake the test after the 7th.

Most HPTs can't tell if your pregnant until a week or so after your period. It's very early for a HPT. I was two months pregnant and my HPT test was still negative. I took it a week later and it was positive. A woman just knows when she's pregnant sometimes. If you still think you might be pregnant even after a negative HPT reading, then I'd say that you probably are. Especial if your take a test before you even missed your period; this is a sign thats it's really on your mind.

I am also due on the 7th and felt some cramping yesterday. I am hoping and thinking it is implantation, especially since I typically don't have PMS symptoms, and I don't usually even have cramping when AF arrives. Of course, it could be PMS, but maybe it's not. That's the trouble with the whole thing, you don't know until the HPT or period confirms your suspicions. Good luck.

If your period is really due on the 7th, then whatever you're feeling now isn't related... It's just too early. It does sound as if you could be pregnant, but perhaps your ovulation was a little earlier than you thought...

Wait until the 7th to test and until then, 'enjoy' the two week wait...

I had the same feelings & symptoms. I felt as if I was pregnant. It ended up being a really odd PMS cycle. I consider it odd only because I was paying more attention to my feelings this time rather than the last cycles.

Unusually dark and/or profuse lip hair, thickening of pubic hair, carnal insatiability, ringing in just one ear, spontaneous dizziness, surprisingly vivid goals, strangely stupid desires, absence of goals, profusion of desires (are you noticing a development here?), unexpected dislike of the feel of pickles/cucumbers, and all different types of other arbitrary things. The fundamental inspiration at the back of any "historical wive's tale" signal is to leap on whatever that appears spontaneous and arbitrary and claim that it can be a sign. When in fact it's traditionally due to different factors that are virtually entirely unrelated. Nonetheless when you start getting fairly distinct about color selections for even the most trivial of matters then you understand that you are pregnant.

yae and no.some people get no symptoms at all and some people get everything you described each month. try not to think about it and wait until you're late. Also be mindful of the old folks tale that if you get your period you're not preg. I never believed you could until It happened to me twice ( a regular looking five day bleed). Good luck i think... if that's what you want.

Retest if you period is late or doesnt come at all. It might be to early for the test to pick up the pregnancy hormone.
