I would say both. Best friends are there in good times and bad but it doesn't hurt to have plenty of other friends to hang around with.

I also have lots of friends most of who i can count on when the time arises, i think you will find that there will always be 2-3 that will stick out from the rest as being your best friends, i don't think its something you can plan or make a choice over, it just kinda happens that way. So in answer to your question, i prefer to haver lots of friends, because i no in my group of friends my true best friends are the ones that that i can count on.......

Two true friends. I do not believe anyone can have more than one handful of true friends. I could not be a good friends to more than a couple of friends. To me, being a friend to someone means I can be there for them. Too many, I would not be able to do that.

I'd like a lot of friends. I have a lot of friends. If you only had 2 friends. One day they might not be there to hang out with you. Or be at school. If you had a lot of friends you would be able to hang out with them.But try to remember not to have too many friends or you won't have as much time for each of them.

I prefer two best friends because you need some type of support system, having a lot of friends doesn't mean you can go to them about personal stuff.

I'd rather 1 or 2 best friends that I can talk to about anything rather than have loads of friends who I'm not realy close to.

I can't have two best friends, and I would prefer to have alot of friends. When one's not available to hang than chances are the others are.
....And I don't get that close to people anymore where I have a best friend( I don't know why).

I believe in quality of friends but they dont have to be ur best friend, i have different friends that i go to for different issues which is what makes them so great and my best friends im not always around but we have that relationship where we dont constantly have 2 b around each other to still kno wots goin on
