can I buy petroleum in the u.s.a

Petrol is British for gasoline. Japan got its car stuff from the Brits: like driving on the left.

I don't see where you would have a problem running GASOLINE in a Nissan. Gasoline is a product of Petroleum. I don't believe ANY car could run on petroleum UNLESS it has a steam engine in it. Many countries refer to gas as PETRO sooooo its just a play of words. Pops

Petroleum is the general term for crude oil, natural gas, l.p.g so that gasoline is a petroleum product.
A product may have different names in different countries :
gasoline..... petrol
kerosene...... paraffin oil
diesel.......... gas oil

Gas is used in cars and Petrol is used in Trucks and similar. Better buy an american car dude
