You can't really compare racing before 1985 to anything like today because the rules were so much different. Nowadays the cars are so much more equal than they were in the past that no driver can just dominate the sport.

i think the msot impressive record is dale earnhardts 10 cup series wins at talladega, seems how that is usually always a luck place, just like daytona usually is
