We're just lucky to have such terrific politicians who make things so much easier for the bad people and so much harder for the good. Can you taste the sarcasm, yet? Cuz I can try harder.
Truth is that in most schools its not actual police officers, but rather school security (aka rent-a-cops), usually with some kind of formal training behind them. In a lot of smaller communities, the only time the cops are actually called in is when there has been a threat of some kind.
Yes, the laws that make it easier to get guns and permits are ridiculous. Who knows what was going on the day they passed that.
The only real way to stop school attacks (or any other attacks made by teenagers/young adults) is to actually be active in their lives. Don't ask "How was school today?" and be pleased with a simple "Fine." You have to be willing to listen to them, ask about any troubles. When you find out their being picked on at school, make sure you know to what degree and help them through it. Dont just tell a kid to fight back or turn the other cheek, when you can actually help stop it. Too often, we hear that the kids who shot up the school were terrorized by their classmates. An easy problem to have solved before killing became a viable option for them.
I'm ranting. Sorry...

When my Dad went to grade school in the 1940's-50's they would bring their own 22 cal. rifles for shooting practice. These 9-14 yr old kids would put them with ammo in their lockers and then shoot with live ammo during that gym activity. They then took guns and ammo home on the buss or walked. Never had any incident of gun violence.
The availablility of guns isn't the cause of the problems. Lack of parental involvement, little or no community connections, and the outright hostility to religous values which were key at that time in building character. Oh yeah, if you screwed up as a kid you likely got spanked at school, and again when you got home.
Too much daycare, too much ACLU, too much hostility to character building activities- Scouting, etc. Start there.

i'm afraid it quite is way less of a question, and extra a topic remember for debate. No way i'm gonna answer each and every of the various questions you asked, however the clarification maximum human beings tend to think of strictly in "-isms" is by using the fact they don't comprehend or sense totally comfortable with the actuality that u.s. might (and at times, does) function somewhat nicely with practices that don't persist with with their own ideals. Too generally do human beings refuse to contemplate situational exceptions wherein a distinctive practice than the only they use works ultimate, and what finally ends up occurring is human beings get trapped in one guy or woman's lack of know-how, it spreads, and earlier you understand it, that "oh-so-rational" concept has become dogma. Then, on each and every occasion somebody tries to point of flaws and advise distinctive factors, they're rejected immediately and thoroughly, without lots attention for any truthfully reason in the aforementioned factors. it is somewhat ridiculous, to be trouble-free, and it is between the generally used issues that restricts u.s. from grew to become an exceptionally super u . s . a ..

I put some blame on the teachers. You can't just blame the student that brought the gun.A teacher or student must have did something to provoke him or her.But no one wants to talk about that do they? Yes, they did bring a gun to school, and yes they are beefing up security, but they must have had a pretty strong reason to "go over the edge".Nothing excuses wut they did but all i'm saying is just don't put there was some kid who shoot another kid or teacher, put some of the theories about why he shoot a teacher or student. For all we know a teacher could have been raping him or her and when they tried to tell some one they just laughed in his or her face and took the teacher's word for it and the student felt the need to get rid of this teacher who was "punishing" or "hurting" him or her. I'm not saying this is true but, just remember that there is always 2 sides to a story.

The way kids are brought up/ not brought up these days.Incompetant people should not have kids. If one can't bring them up with morals, respect and discipline, than kids these days is what we end up with. Not pretty. It affects all of us in one way or another. Maybe people should be limited to 2 kids in each family, as China did for a long time, because of the population explosion there. That was the right thing to do.

I think it started when we found the country on a bloody war. Then had civil war not even 100 years later. We constantly are at war, a decade doesnt go by where we arent somewhere fighting someone. Every 20 to 30 years we are in MAJOR conflict.
Good or bad, we arent afraid to use violence on the battlefield or against each other. You can't teach kids to be non violent when everything they see on TV is violence, video games violence, and honestly you cant preach non violence when your country is always blowing up other countries over disputes.
It didnt just happen its way its always been. Media hype has just scared people bad enough to where they think having a overpaid security guard will help.

We need the police in the Churches and Homes as well.
This Generation of people seem to think it can go on forever without bad results. Guns kill....people kill..ban knives..poison...shaking a baby......... abortion road rage...the list goes on and on. I wish it were only guns that killed.. The U.N. has a image in front of it...do you know what it is. The Bible book of Isaiah states that they will have to beat their swords into plowshares...that is a hint. this image is blasphemy in reality. See Daniel 2: 44 where it states the real hope of mankind. A real government

To answer your title question, when parents turned away from the bible and let the world rear thier children as they thought it should be done, God let them.
Children who are reared fereing God........respecting him and his laws do not enter into the things that require police action.
Study with us. Know true peace ,joy, and brotherly love.
Shun haloween for example..........Keep your kids home.
Invite us in...........we'll show you how!

You need strict gun laws, you say it's your constitutional right to own a gun, but when yet another school shooting occurs and yet more youngsters are killed, where are their rights to be protected??
