Libra is the most masculine of all the air signs but at the same time many Libran males are gay, and alot of astrology books note this. Also, alot of air signs are involved in the Arts and this could be another correlation.

It's quite impossible to determine a persons gender or sexual orientation from their astrological horoscope, let alone the sign their Sun is in.
However, you can determine possible "tastes" by looking at the configurations of the planets Venus and Uranus in the natal chart. Venus is the planet of taste, of style and the things we like and love. Uranus rules the unusual, eccentric, and that which is different or extreme or shocking. Uranus also indicates how much of an outsider we are in a so called "normal" society. By looking at the aspects these planets may make to each other and considering the fifth house of love and romance, possibly Pluto and the 8th house too, we might be able to see indicators of certain tastes and desires.
As for Libra being gay, well, I would guess that probably indicates someone's definition of gay as effeminate. I would say it's a wide connection here, but Libra is ruled by Venus the planet of love and beauty and the feminine principle. Libra types avoid aggression, coarseness, and disharmony, because it upsets their equilibrium. They prefer refined, attractive people and things, and generally have an appreciation of art, balance and style. Libran men often like to wear bracelets and rings and very much like to dress well and with style. If the more "macho" and rougher types believe this to be a "gay" description, then I think that is a bit off the mark, and comes across as mere ignorance and lack of culture.

Heard this one too.
Could be because Libra is supposed to be a narcissistic sign, meaning they love their own image.
Also, Libra represents relationships, partnerings, romance and beauty.
Actually Libra is not the only sign that has more than the average incidence of gays.
However, it would be too narrow to judge Librans or persons of any other sign as potentially gay. Give them a break.
PS: Ha ha, get what you mean about Libra ruling the back of the body. But not quite. Libra rules the lower back and the kidneys and bladder, yes, but it's Virgo that rules the digestive system and the intestines, all the way to the end of it.

I would say no. I am a libra,, as well as my boyfriend, my sister, my best freind, my cousin...etc... I know a lot of libras, none of us are gay. We are emotional people though, so maybe thats why yall think the guys are gay.

Astrology cant really point out Sexual Orientation, there can be some tells for a very feminine man but it cannot really show what gender you preffer in a relationship.
