Business networking? I'm gonna suggest being friendly, smile a lot ( make you appear approachable), don't be shy but confident, and speak with everyone you can and be sincere with your communications with everyone. Last but not least, carry lots of business cards and exchange them with the people you meet. A good impression is a lasting one... Good Luck

During breaks, chat with anyone and everyone. Don't try to be like a vulture or anything, just have some casual conversation that could lead to a business connection. Find something in common with the people you talk to and they'll remember you. Chat with people around the coffee area, in the aisles, in the hallway or even in the restroom. Just be friendly and non-threatening.

Both suggestions made are good - you might also want to try to make arrangements for a later date to meet up for a chat/discussion - particularly if you have a special topic in mind that could be of mutual interest/benefit to both you and them.
Don't be over-zealous with the cards - if you're seen to be 'touting' for business in such large quantities you could put them off. Be selective about who you give your cards to - apart from anything else they are expensive. Alternatively you might like to leave a few lying around on tables for anyone interested to pick up. This should also give you a talking point - that you identify yourself as the owner of the cards!
