anybody would write a sparkling editorial about Obama! in the experience that they did not, that they had be blind. Not any party that really has a chance in hell to ever hope to see president. We have several small parties by that I mean EXTREMELY small.

Green party is most known 3rd party around right now. In 2000 it pulled around 4 percent of the national vote. Which in turn really caused al gore to lose.

3rd parties in america can basically be used to help the two main parties. (AKA , some republicians give money to ralph nader to get people to vote for him instead of john kerry. Basically cancelling out their vote).

We really have no 3rd party that matters at all in american politics. We do have them but they are so small they really don't matter.

Yes. However, the Communists (as the other minor parties) do not have ballot status for their presidential candidate in enough states to have even a theoretical chance to win. Some do not have presidential candidates at all, but do have candidates for other offices.

We don't have very many parties, because under our system it is almost impossible for a small party to win any seats or offices at all.

I'm sure we do have a communist party, but we never hear about them.
