I'm live in Chicago and last year around this time I saw the Chicago White Sox make it to the play offs and easily take the World Serires. This year I saw the team, certain players such as AJ Peirzynski and manager Ozzie Guillen take a lot of "crap" and ridicule from the media. Especially media from our own town (Jay Mariotti). It's great winning a world series but it's also very lonely and difficult being on the top (the best).

Granted the Yanks win it every freakin year. I think the Yanks are the epitome of american culture. Always talkin big game (salary cap) and usually able to back it up.

Here on the west coast the Raiders. They are terrible every stinking year and their fans are obnoxiously scary.
