Keep doing what you are doing, if you won't protect her, who will? And if the family members are mad at you & her about something as perverted & disgraceful as what that bastard did then your granddaughter is better off w/out them in her life! Keep up the good work, grandma!

definite, that is what takes position in Sharia regulation!. women individuals aren't any further believed till they have those 4 male witnesses, who've truly considered the shape. Even the position that's got here about that the 4 adult males have truly witnessed the rape, there have been present day situations in some international locations the position the female has nevertheless been sentenced to be stoned, or lashed. that's considered as circuitously her fault. In those styles of communities, the idea of a lady being raped, even through no fault of her own, is taken under consideration as so shameful that fairly regularly her own relations, brothers, father and so on will kill her to 'guard the relations honour'. Honour killings have got here about even in international locations like the united kingdom and in Australia. that's a large concern in places like India, Pakistan and the middle East. There have also been situations the position women individuals were deliberately disfigured and mutilated through their households in this kind of concern. that's why human beings like me say that they dislike islam. there is not any justification for this kind of behaviour in any civilised united states. I truly don't have any further some thing antagonistic to muslims, in preserving with se, certainly i have many muslim friends and neighbours who're completely stunning human beings. that's the religion I dislike because it unearths procedures to excuse this kind of behaviour, and promotes the concept women individuals are lower than equivalent and ought to continually obey their fathers, husbands, brothers etc. yet you do have those severe perspectives an increasing type of taking carry again in once extra secular or extra tolerant international locations.

Stand your ground! If they want nothing to do with you, that is their loss. People that have morals and stand up for what is right are sometimes made to feel like the bad person. That is wrong! You are 100% correct by protecting any child that has been a victim of a crime, no matter who the person committing this act was. This happens more than you may be aware of ,in many families and has to be stopped! People like you keep their loved ones safe, eventually feeling that someone cares enough to step in. I commend you...Try not to let this consume you ...If it does, you may want to seek a professional that has experience helping families of rape victims. Take care of yourself (-;

Leave them alone! You'll be way ahead in the long run! If there is a God in heaven they will learn to appreciate what you did. If not you will never change them!

I don't mean to be rude, but, simply by asking for opinions this long after the incident you rekindle a sense of guilt and fan their flames! Don't let them have credence!! Leave them alone!!

Unless you depend on them for something I would take the "upper ground" position and walk out of their life! They sound like they deserve each other.

Grand mom, just keep doing the right things for your grand kids, They are all guilty, and they do not know what to say about the situation, so do not worry about them, one day they will come around, and if not, it is their loss. Just keep doing the best for your grand kids!
