Certainly - because The Daily Show is not driven by bias in the way the mostly-conservative mainstream is - everybody is fair game to Stewart & company, whereas Fox News, etc. must hew to the (Republican) party line.

Absolutely! I love Jon Stewart. I like the fact that, although it's obvious he is not a fan of this administration, he cracks on everybody AND he is very open and fair when guests come on who have a different view point. He asks them some tough questions, but he doesn't do it in a belittling or demeaning manner.
While The Daily Show is entertaining, it is also very informative, especially the opening segment and the guests he has on.

Eh, i might could desire to declare Fox information, by skill of a hair... the on a daily basis show in easy terms covers issues that are humorous, while Fox information is a minimum of telling human beings what handed off all day, and then including their very own bias to it and twisting data... in case you in easy terms watched Fox information on mute all day however, you will know what handed off around the country and a few of what handed off around the international, in simple terms from the headlines and textual content cloth

When we are watching the show we are looking at what's funny with today's headlines and nothing else. It's like telling the difference between reality and fantasy with a few opinions added in. Jon Stewart himself has mentioned on his show a few times that no one should take this show seriously. This the reason why he calls it the 'fake news'.

I agree, I love The Daily Show.I think it is more informative, it gives a different perspective, then every thing else that is out there, and it makes you laugh.. Who could ask for anything more than that.

No, it serves to properly mock the 24 hr media and its soulless quest not to inform us but to entertain us.

i do. regular news is so vague as to be meaningless. Sometimes the important news takes a back seat to entertainment.
